childbirth support for Americans in Germany

MOB Family is designed as a place of connection, guidance, and recovery — a physical center in Wiesbaden where American families can access thoughtful, high-quality perinatal support in English throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum year.

Our services go beyond standard childbirth education. They are intentionally designed to address the real, often unspoken experiences of becoming a parent — physical recovery, emotional transition, identity shifts, and the complexity of navigating care while away from extended support systems living overseas in a military community.

At the core of this model is a commitment to continuity, accessibility, and care that reflects both clinical understanding and lived experience.

Why This Matters

Mothers are the foundation of family health.

military postpartum depression and anxiety support

When women are supported — physically, emotionally, and socially — that stability extends outward. Research shows that infants and children are healthier and partnerships are stronger.

Within the military community, the strength of the home supports the readiness and resilience of the Service Member, helping to sustain the mission.

To truly care for families, we must care for mothers — with intention, consistency, and the depth of support they deserve.
